I was looking through a drawer today and found in it a pile of photos, tickets and notes from people i’d kept from a few years ago to remember things by. I havent laughed so much in a while looking at them all, but it scared me how much had happened that i had forgotten about completely. It made me realise just how much there is in the everyday that comes along and quickly passes us by with such fragility- no permenance or stability. And somewhere within those millions of grey little pieces, are treasures i want to keep. Starting now.

MUSE.

I was in that crowd! oh wow. i was never their biggest fan before this weekend. but i cannot describe quite how good their set was.. i have never seen anything as good live. I wasn’t even that close, but just the wall of sound that hit you made it feel like the whole world could hear it. how that sound could come from 4 people. absolutely flawless performance and also the most amazing visuals. For the first half of it Matt didn’t speak once; which is just more credit to them that they could both win over and captivate the whole crowd with just their sound. It was like going to see a production rather than a band.. but in the best way.

so yes..if you ever get the chance to see them. DO IT.

My Flat Family. and these… are the lovelies who i’m living with next year. Can not wait. They have just made my time in Exeter so to be living with them all is going to be amazing. Number 89 will be the house of tea (and cumpulsory biscuits), the best sunday roasts, lots of out of time dancing, the hat game,  and plently of witty banter thrown in for good measure. Frankly, it will be the best house that ever was. LOVE YOU ALL <3

A little bit in love with this piece.

There is something about the depth of emotion he manages to capture in the cartoon style images, and something that i can relate to in his distinctly non femenist depictions of women who are helpless to men, which frequent as a theme in his pictures. His iconic style just makes pop art for me.
